2025 Wivenhoe Pram Race.
7.30pm, Friday 11th July, 2025.

The Wivenhoe Pram Race is a traditional annual fun event in Wivenhoe, Essex.

Starting at the Station Pub, competitors race over a course around lower Wivenhoe, drinking half a pint of beer (or soft drink) at each stop along the way.

Take part by completing the entry form below by 5.30pm on Friday 11th July, or spectate along the route!

Entry is Free. Competitors must complete the entry form below by 5.30pm on Friday 11th July 2025. and arrive at The Station Hotel (opposite Wivenhoe train station) between 7pm and 7.15pm on Friday, 11th July 2025.

PRIZES:
£100 prize for the winners (kindly donated by W.O.R.C and The Station Hotel) and champagne for the best fancy dressed team.

HOW TO ENTER:

Complete and return the entry form below.
Dress up and bring your own pram/wheeled vehicle to The Station Hotel car park between 7pm and 7.15pm before the race start.

***IMPORTANT RACE SAFETY ADVICE***

Participants must ensure their pram/wheeled vehicle are stable, safe and secure. We recommend wearing safety protective headwear, knee and elbow protectors and appropriate protective clothing.
Although the event is a race, we advise participants to keep within a safe speed, remembering to slow down to an appropriate speed when approaching corners/turns.
Participants enter at their own risk and are responsible for safety compliance. If you suffer from a medical condition or are pregnant, we advise you to first seek professional medical advice or not to enter.
