Sailing and Rowing is at the core of the Wivenhoe Town Regatta. Gig racing is also at the centre of the rowing race schedule. 

Sailing and Rowing is at the core of the Wivenhoe Town Regatta. Boats on display include Historical Smacks, Wivenhoe One Designs, Brightlingsea One Designs, Nottage Dinghies, Modern Sailing Cruisers and Classic Yachts.

Gig racing is a centrepiece of the Wivenhoe Town Regatta racing programme. Races include the Super Knockout speed trail races.
